Meet Katy
Owner and head designer of kd decor. New to the floral scene, she is a self-taught florist (with a ton of guidance and a fair share of trial & error along the way). She believes you don’t need a degree to create something beautiful. She prides herself on working one-on-one with each and every client to create a unique design that completes the Bride’s dream vision.
On her (few) days off you may find her living life in color - wearing mostly black, giving allllllll the love to her sweet pups, Charge & Hazel, going on dates with her husband and ultimate “right-hand man”, Joey, taking long bubble baths, or enjoying a margarita.

Kd decor is a small floral design studio, specializing in wedding and event florals - near and far.
kd decor has been around since 2012, starting out simply by accidents. A hobby, creating custom signs and decor for friend’s and family’s weddings. This labor of love has since grown to incorporate wedding and special event florals. Operating out of her home studio, she managed to conquer twenty five weddings her first year as a solo florist and won The Knot’s “Best of Weddings” title while doing so.
Specializing in embracing a unique point of view, she strives to collaborate with her clients to deliver an unconventional design - for those who want to step out of the traditional box of bridal florals. She enjoys the process of every wedding, getting to know her clients on a personal level and creating a trusting relationship, ensuring them that they are in great hands. A perfectionist at heart, she is very detail-oriented and evaluates every design multiple times, only sending out floral perfection. She loves that every wedding is different and an opportunity to tell the couple’s story through her designs.
